The Episcopal Diocese of Easton

The Diocese of Easton occupies more than
one-third of the geographical territory of Maryland. Originally an isolated
section of the Diocese of Maryland, it became its own diocese in 1868. It
shares the Delmarva Peninsula with the entire state of Delaware and a small
part of Virginia. Easton, the see city, is located centrally in Talbot
County. The Diocese is comprised of about 9,750 members and 70 clergy in 39
worshipping communities.
